Terms of Service

1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of TheVibeSecurity at thevibesecurity.com, including the free preview scan, your account, the dashboard and paid plans. By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
2. The service
TheVibeSecurity checks web apps for common security problems, such as exposed keys, open databases and risky settings, and gives you plain-language findings and fix prompts. The scanner is live. Anyone can run a free preview scan of publicly visible information. With an account, the Free plan covers one site and four scans a month, and paid plans add more sites, more scans, scheduled re-scans, repository scanning and, on sites you verify, Supabase and Firebase deep checks. The limits of each plan are shown on the pricing page and in your dashboard. Features, limits and plans may change; a change never shortens a period you have already paid for.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract.
- You sign in with your Google account or with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep that account and inbox secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- Give accurate information and tell us at once if you think your account has been misused.
4. Authorized use only
You may submit and scan only websites and apps that you own or are explicitly authorized to test. You must not:
- scan, probe or attack systems belonging to others without permission;
- scan government, banking or critical infrastructure sites;
- use the service to access, copy, change or damage anyone's data;
- bypass our rate limits, ownership checks or other safeguards; or
- resell or misuse the service in breach of these terms or the law.
Unauthorized access to computer systems can be a criminal offence under India's Information Technology Act, 2000. We may refuse, suspend or report misuse. See also our Responsible Use page.
5. Ownership verification
You can prove you control a site with a DNS record, a file or a meta tag. Supabase and Firebase deep checks run only on sites you have verified, and only on the Builder plan and above. Verifying a site on the Free plan does not turn them on. A site owner can opt out of unverified scans by adding the line vibesecurity: disallow to the site's /.well-known/security.txt or by emailing us. All checks are designed to be read-only.
6. Plans and payments
- Every paid plan is a single payment for a fixed period that you choose at checkout: one month or 12 months. Nothing renews automatically. We do not store a payment mandate and we never charge you again unless you buy again at checkout.
- Customers in India pay in Indian rupees through Razorpay. 18% GST is added at checkout and shown on your invoice.
- Customers outside India pay in US dollars through our international payment partner. No GST is added on top of the USD price. You are responsible for any tax your own country charges on services you buy from abroad.
- The currency is set by the country you use the service from. The price, period and taxes are shown before you pay.
- When the period ends your account moves to the Free plan. Your sites, scan history and findings are kept. There is no subscription to cancel.
- Payments are non-refundable except as set out in our Refunds and Cancellation policy.
7. No guarantee
A scan reports what it can detect. It can miss problems and is not a full security audit or a substitute for one. Fix prompts are suggestions for your AI tool; review changes before you apply them. The service is provided "as is", and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. If you misuse the service
You are responsible for scans you run. You agree to cover losses we suffer because you scanned a system you were not authorized to test or otherwise broke these terms.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using the service at any time and delete your account from Dashboard → Settings, or by emailing us. Deleting your account removes your sites, scans and findings and ends any paid period without a refund. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or to protect the service or others.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for material changes, tell you by email or on the site before they apply. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, wherever you use the service from. If you are a consumer, this does not take away protections that the law of your own country says cannot be waived.
